Our latest JM Posner Donut Mix, Yeast! A yeast donut is cut out into a shape before being fried to golden, dough-y perfection. They're light and airy, but have a chew and a slight yeast flavour.
Cook in oil for 2 minutes each side for the best texture and flavour

How to Make Donuts With Our Yeast Based Donut Mix
Dry Mix: 1kg | Water: 490ml | Yeast: 50g
Approximate values. Adjust to taste.
For more mix multiply quantities accordingly.
Times, temperatures, oiling & greasing may vary depending on appliance used.
1. Add the mix to a mixing bowl.
2. Then add the Yeast and the water, using a dough hook for 2 minutes on slow.
3. Mix on medium for a further 7-12 minutes ensuring the dough is developed. Dough temp needs to be 26-28°C. 4. Let rest for 10 minutes – Shape as required.
5. Prove for up to 15 mins. Dry for up to 10 mins before frying.
6. Fry in good quality oil at approx 180°C for 1 min. each side for ring doughnuts. (for ball Doughnuts fry for 1.5 – 2 mins each side).
